Over three decades deep and still pushing, Jason Hodges is one of Toronto's most quietly influential house music exports. He runs his own imprint, Junction Style Music (JSM), and keeps a relentless release schedule. Recent years have him remixing, being remixed by, and co-producing alongside JT Donaldson, Oliver Dollar, DJ Sneak, William Alexander, Andy Riley, Gettoblaster and Demuir. Dig into his Beatport catalogue and you'll find the receipts,150+ tracks going back to 2003, and counting. Catch him at DANCE CLASS, Sept 26.

In July 2026, Jason Hodges released Wait with Lil Mark on Salon Records alongside its remix by Antiaslash & Moritz Piske. In the same month, The JSM redo of the Trackheadz track Imprints came out on DNH Records.
It's been so long since Jason Hodges last played Edmonton that the internet has no memory of it... and honestly, neither does he beyond that it happened. Consider this upcoming event properly going down in Edmonton house music history.
Jason's heading to the UK to play a party at the iconic Cosmic Kitchen in Plymouth as part of the Housewerk event series, October 10.
Sleepy Freeman helps build the scene while throwing down unforgettable sets. A fixture in Toronto's house music community, he's spent his career as much behind the movement as behind the decks. He founded and runs WDFA Radio and hosts The Sleepy Experiment, turning both into a platform for the city's sharpest house selectors. Catch him in the rooms Toronto's house faithful know well, like Boogie and Wiggle Room, where he's shared lineups with Nick Holder, Toronto Hustle and other names that land instantly with anyone paying attention. Don't miss him at DANCE CLASS, Sept 26.

WDFA radio's been pumping since 2016. Notable guests include Hatiras, Hector Morales, MC Flipside, and more. In 2025, Edmonton's The Heather Network played on WDFA radio via CNTRL room.
DANCE CLASS will be Sleepy Freeman's first time in Edmonton. He's played the East Coast of Canada but hasn't ventured West...until now.
Generous with his knowledge and quick to make room for others, Sleepy's sound plays as well to discerning DJs as it does to a packed floor. Decades in, he's earned respect from beginners and veterans alike.
Rounding out the night, Edmonton's own Femme Funk, The Heather Network and Nat Nolan bring the local heat in support of Jason Hodges and Sleepy Freeman.
Ohme is supporting during the afterparty at Y Afterhours you won't want to miss, more details coming soon.
DANCE CLASS is presented by The Faculty Event Centre and School Board Events, Edmonton.
