Calling all Edmonton DJ's! 
Starting June 4th, the weekly Open Decks night we've been running in the west end is getting a fresh coat of paint, FORMAT WILL BE FACULTY FORMULA and shiny new digs by way of The Faculty Event Center on Whyte Ave!
Come on down and sign up for a 20-minute slot with a Rekordbox formatted USB loaded with your music and show us what you got! All skill levels welcome, from the established vets to the greenest newcomer, this is a welcoming and supportive environment to get valuable stage experience in front of a crowd!
The Details:
- 20-minute time slots, FCFS
- Pioneer Standalone equipment
- Runs weekly Thursdays 8- close
- PLUR vibes only
FACULTY FORMULA - 8-11 will be 20-minute slots, and each DJ going on in that timeframe will have their name entered into a draw that takes place at 10:50pm - with the winners getting an additional 30-minute slot running from 11-2, ...and as an added incentive, the first 3 DJ's from 8-9 will receive 2 entries!

- OMEN Roars Through Festival Blues with a Stacked Night of Drum & Bass
While festival season had many people feeling the post-event blues, NAB DNB's OMEN proved there was still plenty to celebrate, delivering a stacked lineup of local talent that kept the energy high from start to finish.
Held at The Faculty Event Centre in Edmonton, OMEN brought together some of the city's favorite artists—both established names and rising talent—for a night dedicated to drum & bass, jungle, and bass music.

This event is showcased the depth and diversity of Edmonton's bass music community.
From heavy rollers to jungle classics and high-energy bass selections, each set brought its own unique flavor, creating an atmosphere that had the dance floor moving well into the night. The combination of seasoned local favorites and fresh faces highlighted the continued growth and strength of the city's drum & bass scene.
For those looking to shake off the festival blues, OMEN delivered exactly what was needed—a community-driven night of incredible music, familiar faces, and unforgettable vibes.
Events like this continue to reinforce that some of the best experiences happen right at home, with local artists pushing the scene forward one dance floor at a time.

The Pegasus' Lair Sound Stage at Dino Burn 2026 was a beautiful experience of co-creation, music, art, and community...
...until an intense storm with 90+ km/h winds swept through, causing significant damage to much of our stage infrastructure.
Our sweet friends have encouraged us to throw a fundraiser, so here we are!
Join us on July 18th as we be bring Pegasus back from the clouds while celebrating a double birthday for Amanda Panda and fei.rises on July 18, generously hosted by the wonderful folks at The Faculty.
There is also going to be an afterparty at the Y!
